Slice of Life - What was Best?

I'm very grateful to be able to take three personal days a year.  I typically take them to go on a field trip with the one of the girls but now they are getting older and field trips don't really happen anymore.  Today I took a personal day to spend a day with my college daughter home on spring break and since it was a personal day I'm going to keep the particulars personal.  What I can share is the sun was shining all day.  It was the warmest day of the year so far.  We were enjoying things we or she likes to do all day  and when I asked her what her favorite thing about today was, "scrambled eggs for breakfast."  

This completely caught me off guard and made me stop and think, simple things are the best and while I will treasure this whole day, I hope I have many more days to make her scrambled eggs.
