dried grass twine paper feathers
house sparrow messy
-Mandy Robek, 2021
I’m really enjoying my daily observations since joining my friend Mary Lee Hahn with her #haikudiary project this month. Today is Poetry Friday and Tabitha is hosting this week at The Opposite of Indifference.
Quite eclectic. Hmmm....
ReplyDeleteGlad you are enjoying the haiku life. ;o)
This reminds me of when I monitored bluebird boxes and (sadly) had to remove sparrow nests. So messy indeed!
ReplyDeleteMight be messy, but those feathers look so soft.
ReplyDeleteI am always intrigued by what some birds put in their nests. I read this past week about putting cut hair out for birds. I'm loving the #haikudiary posts!
ReplyDeleteLove your picture and your poem. There are no wasted words. Nests are fascinating.
