Annoying or Caring? {SOS: Magic in a Blog}

"You are annoying."

I like to look at it as caring and helpful.

She stops and ponders my phrase, I go about my day.

"Stop being nosey."

I like to think it's being interested and supportive,

She stops and ponders my phrase, I go about my day.

I wonder if she'd flip those words and tell me she's interested, supportive, caring, and helpful if I said you are annoying or nosey.  I wonder if the roles every change...

  1. It's about the point of view. One day she will ask the same kinds of questions of her child and then she will understand.

  3. Every moment of life is about perspective - I think it was Laura Ingalls Wilder who said "Things and persons appear to us according to the light we throw on them from our own minds." I know this light can shift... how much better I understand my father now. Strength and courage to you. :)

  6. Going about our days - all the nosey, annoying, caring, helpful things will become fond memories. I wish my mom was here with me to be a little annoying (caring) about me!
