Alba and the Ocean Clean Up by Laura Hawthorne is a delightful story encouraging readers to help take care of our oceans. Alba is a collector; a collector of beautiful things. Until one day the beautiful things are harder to find. Alba actually get stuck in a glass bottle and thankfully Kaia rescues and frees Alba. Kaia Tells everybody the story about finding Elba which makes her an activist and causes and brings her community together to take steps and saving the ocean. The end of the book has a great two page spread about scientific information about the different animals The last page has five steps encouraging us help take care of the oceans.
