I decided even though there was the threat of rain tonight to embrace spring with my rain gear and put the snow gear away. Seemed like the perfect way to start spring break - going for a long walk with my dogs. It was warm and smelled like spring. I also think I've been itching to use the phrase falling water in a piece of writing. But I can't take credit for it. My youngest daughter said it last week as were driving to softball and I thought it was just clever.

Love the repetition and your use of falling water (thanks to your daughter). So glad you were able to dig out the rain gear and put the snow gear away. Best way to begin spring break is with a spring walk! Bet your dogs were happy!
ReplyDeleteI love the play with the repeating words! Perfect description of walking during a spring rain. Happy spring break!
